Made from recyclable aluminum painted in a soft blue that symbolizes our fragile Blue Planet, its surface is covered
with a patterned aluminum “cloth” of roses. The tabletop features a delicate rose-patterned aluminum lace, which is
simply laid atop the base like a crocheted tablecloth gently placed on a table. The four corners of this “cloth” extend
downwards, evoking the shape of an envelope—like a love letter, folded and waiting.
These roses reference The Little Prince, who reminds us that we are responsible for what we love. Through the “cloth,”
we catch glimpses of vibrant material made from recycled clothing—a symbolic layer reminding us that what we
discard can be reborn with care.
Red and fluorescent accents echo the colors of roses and the sun—the warmth and beauty that can still flourish if we
treat our planet with respect. The table carries an urgent message: we walk a fine line when it comes to pollution and
our impact on the planet. It’s a tactile reminder that “what is essential is invisible to the eye,” and that only by looking
with our hearts can we truly see.
