EXHIBITION SENSATIONS
The Jewelry Exhibition at the Slovenian Design Week 2024 in Center Rog is a spatial composition that, through its architectural concept, emphasizes the sensory experience of the visitor. It is based on the concept of Sensations, where space is shaped as a fluid interplay of materials, light, and reflections.
In the central part of the exhibition, mirrored surfaces create an illusion of infinity, blurring the boundary between the real and the illusory. The displayed jewelry multiplies and transforms through reflections, shifting in response to the viewer’s movement. Simultaneously, the space is enriched by the colors of stained glass, created with translucent film on windows, further enhancing the visual experience.
Floating white ribbons stretch dynamically throughout the exhibition, evoking a sense of lightness and spatial fluidity. The materiality of the space plays a key role in shaping the experience—reflections, transparency, and light effectsexpand the perception of space and allow for a multi-layered interpretation of the exhibited pieces.
Thus, the exhibition goes beyond a mere jewelry display—it becomes a spatial installation, actively engaging visitors in a play of perception and an exploration of space through shifting perspectives.
